This page is written to explain our current privacy practices in plain language. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and applicable privacy rights may vary by location.

1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SimuTradeX collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit the SimuTradeX website, use pages linked to this policy, contact support, or use SimuTradeX paper trading features.

SimuTradeX is an educational crypto paper trading simulator. It is not a broker, exchange, custodian, bank, financial adviser, or provider of real-money trading execution.

  • This policy covers website activity, account-related information, support messages, and simulated platform activity.
  • If a feature links to a separate privacy notice, that separate notice may provide additional details for that feature.

2. Information we may collect

The information we collect depends on how you use SimuTradeX. We aim to collect only what is useful for operating, securing, improving, and supporting the paper trading experience.

  • Account and contact information, such as name, email address, login identifiers, password authentication data, support messages, and communication preferences.
  • Paper trading data, such as virtual balances, simulated orders, open positions, watchlists, price alerts, automation rules, trade history, portfolio snapshots, notes, and related settings.
  • Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, error logs, and approximate location derived from technical data.
  • Subscription and billing information, such as plan type, subscription status, invoices, billing identifiers, and payment processor references. We do not need full payment card numbers to operate the website.
  • Content you choose to provide, such as contact form submissions, feedback, uploaded or pasted text, and information included in AI-ready portfolio snapshots.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide a reliable educational simulator, keep accounts secure, support users, and improve product quality.

  • Create, authenticate, and manage accounts and sessions.
  • Operate virtual portfolios, simulated trades, price alerts, automation rules, watchlists, history, and AI-ready snapshots.
  • Respond to support requests, contact forms, security questions, and product feedback.
  • Send service messages, product notices, security alerts, and account-related communications.
  • Analyze usage trends, fix bugs, measure feature performance, and improve page content and user experience.
  • Protect SimuTradeX, users, and the public from fraud, abuse, spam, unauthorized access, and technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and preserve rights when necessary.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

SimuTradeX may use cookies, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to keep the website working, remember preferences, maintain secure sessions, measure site performance, and understand how visitors use public pages.

You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect login, security, or feature availability.

  • Essential cookies help with login, security, routing, and session management.
  • Preference cookies or local storage may remember interface choices.
  • Analytics or performance tools, if enabled, help us understand traffic patterns and improve the website.

5. When we share information

We do not share personal information just because someone asks for it. We share information only when it supports the service, is requested by you, is required by law, or is needed to protect rights and safety.

  • Service providers may help with hosting, databases, security, email delivery, analytics, payments, customer support, and other operational needs.
  • Payment processors may handle billing and subscription data. Their own terms and privacy notices may also apply.
  • Legal and safety disclosures may occur if required by law, court order, government request, fraud prevention, security investigation, or rights protection.
  • Business transfers may involve information if SimuTradeX is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or asset transfer.
  • User-directed sharing may occur when you export, copy, or send an AI-ready snapshot or other information to an external tool or person.

6. AI-ready snapshots and external tools

AI-ready snapshots are designed to help users copy structured paper portfolio context for external review. SimuTradeX does not control external AI tools or third-party services after you choose to paste or upload information there.

Before sharing a snapshot externally, review it and remove anything you do not want to disclose.

  • Snapshots may include virtual portfolio context, simulated positions, recent paper trades, alerts, and notes.
  • External AI tools may process information under their own privacy policies.
  • AI output should be treated as educational review support, not financial advice.

7. Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide SimuTradeX, maintain records, resolve disputes, improve safety, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business needs.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so users should also protect their own passwords, devices, and email accounts.

  • Account and simulated trading records may be retained while your account is active or as needed for service, security, audit, or legal purposes.
  • Support messages may be retained to respond to requests and improve support quality.
  • Logs and analytics data may be retained for shorter periods unless needed for security, troubleshooting, or legal reasons.
  • When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete, de-identify, or aggregate it where practical.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about how personal data is processed.

You may also have choices about marketing communications, browser cookies, and account settings. We will not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights required by applicable law.

  • To make a request, contact us at support@simutradex.com or use the contact page.
  • We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
  • Some information may be retained where necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or service integrity.
  • If you use third-party services, contact those providers directly for privacy requests related to their systems.

9. International users

SimuTradeX may be operated from, hosted in, or supported from countries different from where you live. As a result, information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws.

Where required, we take steps intended to support lawful cross-border processing and to protect information according to this policy.

10. Children

SimuTradeX is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as SimuTradeX changes or as legal, technical, or operational requirements evolve. The "Last updated" date shows when this page was last revised.
